Thank you so much for taking this issue to heart and acting on it! I am a rape survivor. 26 years later I am the wife of a minister and mother of 5 - two of them girls. I was sitting at my desk today with my back to the TV. It was really only on for "ambient noise". I was engrossed in my task at hand - literally making my written plan for a group I am starting for survivors of sexual abuse and rape. When I heard your segment on the Montel show today my blood ran cold at the divine timing. (Obviously your appearance on this date in July was a second run) I can't describe the feeling of empowerment I had listening to you girls! I am humbled by your passion for your mission. Perhaps I didn't know what to do all those years ago but my daughters will- thanks to strong young women like you! And for those of us (and we are many) who have lived with this horrible crime I will continue to share my story so that other women can regain their lives.

You young ladies have my utmost admiration and respect for your commitment to protecting other girls like Carly Bruscia and the countless others who don't make the national news. May God bless you richly for your compassion. You have certainly used the gifts He has given you for His glory!

Dallas and her friend are to be congratulated for their parts in coming up with the idea, and seeing it through to fruition, with the help of all the generous people who came aboard. I know you are very proud of her and rightly so!!

Watched the DVD last night with my daughter. She enjoyed the insight and tips provided. She will be having some of her friends over to watch as well. She is talking about taking it to school and asking the counselor if she can show it to other female students!

It was such a pleasure having you visit and present at our school on Friday. Our students were very impressed but more importantly feel they received great information that can help protect themselves and their children. The extra DVD's are flying out of my office door as I shared information about our presentation at the all staff meeting on Monday. Please pass along our appreciation to Dallas and Catherine as they continue to get their very important message out, everywhere possible.

First I would like to say Thank You for caring enough about other people to create such a wonderful, informative movie! I just learned about your DVD on Montel Williams, and as a mother of 6 daughters it definitely caught my attention! I would like to request a DVD of "Just Yell Fire" so I can show my daughters, as well as try to get it shown at our school, etc. You should be very proud of yourselves, not only have you touched many lives, you have saved many lives! Thank you again!

I just saw your story on Montel Williams and it brought tears to my eyes! I was 15 when I was raped! I only wish I saw this video 20 years ago. I live in a gated community with security guards and a few months ago, someone was able to get into the community and attempt a rape. You are never too safe or protected...no matter how much security there is. This video is not only a great resource to young girls, but to a 35 year old victim of a rape that happened 20 years ago. How many WOMEN don't know how to protect themselves? Sorry for the rant, but the segment on Montel brought out all those feeling that I had as a 15 year old virgin. I want to give a copy of this dvd to any female I come across. There are so many teenage girls here that can benefit from this very much needed video. I can't really donate anything, maybe help with the shipping costs, but what I can do is spread the message that we don't have to be victims and that we can learn to defend ourselves. Thanks so much for helping all of the ladies, young and old, that have no idea what to do in a dangerous situation. I know from experience that they might not remember everything from this DVD. But when they are suddenly caught in that situation they will remember. I wish I would have had something like this when I was a teen. You're saving many lives with this DVD and giving confidence to young ladies who need it much more today than we ever have. What a fantastic job this young lady has done for all women. My hats off to her. Thanks again.

We want to thank you both so much for the JYF Program on May 7th in Albion. The students loved being a part of the program and learning how to protect themselves. I heard back from many of the 5th grade girls about watching the movie with their parents and that they feel better knowing how to stay safe. I also heard back from a few parents thanking us for offering a program like this to our students. Our staff is looking forward to being trained in August with you and we hope that all of our girls from 5-12 grade will be offered self-defense and we can generate more discussion about this important topic. Thank you for also meeting with the girls for lunch, signing books and being so understanding.

Hi. I saw you girls on Montel and I wanted to take a moment to say Thank-You. The number of girls you both are helping through this video is more than you could ever imagine. I live in Eastern Canada and have taken your video and sent it out to our local Community Collage to be sent out to all the students as these techniques are some that can be used by anyone, at any age. I also hope to make it available to the elementry and high school kids in town. We live in a small community, less than 5000 people approx., and everyone here believes it is a safe place. Because of parents beliefs, no one is taking the time to teach our girls what to do if they find themselves in danger. Although we all want to protect our kids, keeping them in the dark about what happens in the world is not the way. I fully believe this nietivity was party of what led to me being raped by someone I thought was a friend when I was 15. I wish I had known what to do then, but knowing that it is here to help the next girl is enough. Please keep doing what you are doing. And from me alone, Thank-You for keeping my family safe.
